Our six Technical Assistance (TA) Hubs will provide services to participating communities, businesses, project developers and community lenders to accelerate the impact of Green Bank financings. Each hub will provide free resources and training opportunities, as well as fee-for-service consultative support.
Projects and businesses financed by community lenders using funds from the Green Bank for Rural America must be within our service area and meet project eligibility criteria.
Find EPA eligible LIDAC communities, and Green Bank eligible rural communities / communities in Appalachia in the interactive map, below. We also prioritize energy communities, rural communities of color, and Native communities. Financing and technical assistance will be available in all eligible rural areas nationwide.
Participating Community Lenders will underwrite projects and businesses that are eligible to be financed with EPA GGRF support. These include:
The redevelopment and renovation of buildings that reduce emissions, and the construction of new Net Zero Emissions buildings including:
» Commercial, Industrial, Community Facilities, and other buildings
» Residential – single family and multi-family, both rental and for sale.
Including community solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal; energy storage and battery backup systems.
Including commercial fleet electrification for trucks or cars, school buses, public or share-ride services, and charging infrastructure for all EVs.
Energy efficient and renewable energy products and services supporting the above.
The Green Bank is currently accepting proposals from qualified technical assistance providers for services to support specific projects and businesses, participating communities or lender organizational capacity building. Note – this is an open RFP and applications may be submitted at any time.
We’re seeking proposals from organizations with expertise in any of our six TA Hub areas, including for profit, public sector, and non-profit service providers. The Green Bank will review proposals and qualify service providers to ensure they have proven, relevant experience in the Green Bank TA subject matter. Qualified service providers will be listed on our website, along with their areas of specialization.
Qualified TA Providers may also be invited to submit supporting resources to be shared including project examples, templates & toolkits, webinars, white papers, training materials, and case studies.
We are preparing more resources to support community lenders as well as businesses, project developers, and communities. Sign up for our email list to receive updates as new resources become available.
